Susana founded ALDStone in 2012, a disruptive startup leading ground-breaking circular solutions specialising in building materials and novel circular business models implementing circularity, circular systems, products and services. The projected future impact with ALDStone influence is going to transform the built environment sector from linear to circular providing a more sustainable economic model and more regenerative environmental protection, through less waste of finite resources and by doing more with what we already have.

Susana, a passionate visionary designer and professional who has 24+ years of progressive and responsible experience. She is an active member of the CEC London, the EU_BUILD UP and the European CE Stakeholder Platform.

John Hutton

Previously Head of Sustainability at one of the UK's leading design and construction companies. John is a passionate believer in the transition to a more Circular Economy in our Built Environment. He operated at Executive Board level and is actively involved with industry bodies and charitable organisations, both as Director and Trustee. He advises on matters relating to environmental, social and economic sustainability.

John is focused on adding value and communicating the many benefits of more Circular business practices. His combined experience, with a solid background in civil engineering, underpins his contemporary approach to identifying, evaluating and delivering suitable and commercially viable Circular opportunities with a sound business case.

Founder: SOcial, ENvironmental & EConomic Solutions (SOENECS) Ltd

David founded SOENECS, a research and innovation practice in 2014 following 15 years in leadership roles in local and regional government. SOENECS provide strategic research, advice, training, solutions, chairing and facilitation on the topics of circular economy, environmental auditing, waste & resource management. His innovative projects include co-founding www.pothole-spotter.co.uk and www.techtakeback.co.uk.

David is a “Circular Economy Club” Mentor and co-organiser of CEC London, non-executive Chair of the CIWM Enterprises Board, Trustee and Director of Freegle, Chair of the ICE Resource Management Panel, Government Adviser to DEFRA and MHCLG and advisor and past chair to the National Waste Network Chairs (WNC).

Consultant with a focus on sustainable smart cities, communities and internet of things (IoT), advising organisations including the British Standards Institution (BSI) and SMEs on accelerating innovations and service developments in transport, homes and the built environment. Business Development Director at Coderus, a software development SME, and a Senior Visiting Fellow for digital innovation at the University of Suffolk. 13 years’ experience in local government including digital service transformation in transport, corporate strategy and economic development. 18 years’ experience in ICT, brand and marketing communications, including a plethora of successful digital innovations and service developments at BT.

Innovation Adviser, Innovate 2 Succeed

Nik has considerable experience advising clients both large and small, public as well as private. At the Design Council, he was involved in a number of innovation projects, including product and service design, organisational change and, the related communications to implement new services and change.
