“Women make up more than half the world’s population, and although they are often disproportionately impacted by climate change, their voices are not always heard due to lack of inclusion and representation at the decision-making level. Now more than ever, enhancing women’s participation and leadership in the conversation around climate action will be critical to securing a healthy, prosperous and sustainable future for us all” (women4climate website).
Clara Duchalet joined the C40 program Women4Climate to boost the development of her startup: Vépluche, a circular economy solution designed to valorise organic waste. Would you like to be the next climate leader? Join this session to find out how.
Mentee of Women4Climate program & Co-Founder of Vépluche
Clara Duchalet is the co-founder of Vépluche, a circular economy solution designed to valorise organic waste into compost through an innovative business model.
She launched the company after completing her studies in political science and international relations... that led her to believe that making the world greener starts with creating the good economic incentives! Mentored by the C40 Cities network and the private investment fund Quinta Investments, Clara currently works on the first proof of concept of Vépluche in the city of Boulogne-Billancourt, close to Paris.
