DIF ON DEMAND What If We Were All Great Designers Of Our Own Mind?

  • Add to Calendar 20/11/2017 18:00 20/11/2017 18:45 Europe/London What If We Were All Great Designers Of Our Own Mind? - DIF 2017 Online at thinkdif.co Ellen MacArthur Foundation no-reply@ellenmacarthurfoundation.org false DD/MM/YYYY

The Disruptive Innovation Festival is an online festival of ideas that asks the question: what if we could redesign everything? During the DIF, we’ll be asking our speakers to tell us what they think is in store for the future of the economy. While watching you can chip in with your thoughts and questions: sign up for a free My DIF account and ask your question through the discussion forum below the live stream!

Why is it that from an early age, people ask us what we want to be but rarely ask us who we want to be? The who isn’t a person we hope to emulate, but the mindsets we aim to possess, recognising that our mindsets drive our behaviors, relationships, emotional agility, ego management, and more. What if we were all intentional designers of our own mind? What if teams developed a shared 'brain', with mindsets that create a level playing field and help them thrive?

This DIF session will: introduce the concept of becoming an intentional designer of your own mind; explain how doing so will position individuals, teams and entire companies to thrive to their maximum potential; share several key mindsets that already have an evidence base showing the positive impact they have on individual and team choices, interactions, relationships, overall performance, motivation and career growth; and, equally important, identify counter-productive mindsets that can be dispelled.
